I am notarizing a Nevada Jurat document and at it uses the following language:
Sworn To befor me this ___day of________, 20__
Notary Public for:_____________________________
My Commission Expires:_______________________
I am trying to be certain of what to put at "Notary Public for" line. State? County? Person signing doc? Have not seen this wording before.
Thank you for any advice.

If it's a jurat, you have to use the California wording, no matter what. So don't even worry about it. It's only with acknowledgments that the wording can be different *IF* the document will be filed out of state.
When I have these, I simply cross through improper wording. If there's room for a jurat stamp, I use that, otherwise I use a loose form. I have a stamp for this, but you can write it by hand, too. I add the words, "Please see attached for CA Gov't Code 8202 compliant jurat."
As I said, mine is a stamp that I use for this, but you can write it by hand. You don't have to write anything... I just do it so it's clear what I'm doing, and why. If they have questions, they can look up the applicable Gov't Code.
But, to answer your question...if you weren't restricted by CA law on this, you'd probably put the state name after the "for". But --- don't do it... you need to use the CA jurat format.

I've received a couple of emails asking me to post samples of the stamps I mentioned... so here you go:
As I mentioned before, these are NOT required... I just use them as a matter of convenience, and I find fewer people will argue about using an attached certificate of you give them something authoritative to look up.
