i am sure this is an easy fix. i recently moved, within the last week. how do i change my address with the secretary of state?

It's easy... but this is something you should know how to do. The form is available from the SOS's website, with instructions.
The form you mail to the SOS is located at:
http://www.sos.ca.gov/business/notary/forms/notary_addr_chg_7-03.pdf
Be sure to mail it Certified Return Receipt.
BTW, you are not required to use the form, you can just write them a letter... but the form makes it easier.
