Have Title, Lender or Signing Company contact the borrower and give them the reason for the additional documents. Not your call. Hope you are being paid for the additional trips to borrower? Borrower's do sign, usually, a Compliance Agreement and Correction Agreement Limited Power of Attorney. These documents state, that the borrower agrees to cooperate if any additional documents are needed for the closing of the loan or perhaps to sell in the secondary market. The borrower certainly should not be making threats towards you. You are an impartial witness to the signing and have no involvement in the contents of the documents. Get docs signed correctly, notarize where necessary and return docs to receiving agency. Get paid. Final question. Why is the signing agency resending docs to be resigned? What happened to the first ones?
